IEC power cable sleeves help secure the power cable to the connected device.
Note: Power sleeves are unnecessary if the device includes a wire-locking mechanism, like a C21 power cable with a WattBox 20A IP-enabled Power Conditioner.
To install an IEC power cable sleeve:
-
Insert the power cable in the device's AC inlet and note the depth required to fully seat the power cable.
-
Slide the power sleeve over the female end of the IEC power cable with the tabs facing away from the IEC end.
-
Ensure the sleeve is fully seated and secure over the IEC end.
-
Carefully apply pressure while inserting the power cable to avoid damaging the device.
