Configuring Min and Max On for Lux Lighting

Setting the Min On and Max On maximizes the perceived dimming experience from dim to bright.

Note: Always set the Min On for optimal dimming performance. Failure to do so may cause lights to flicker or pulse and cause a slight delay when turning on the light.

To set the Min On, set the dimmer's Brightness to 1 using Composer Control or a Navigator. In the driver Properties, incrementally increase the Min On level until the light turns on. This eliminates the "dead travel" where the dimmer is ramping but there is is no visible light.

Note: This value is typically between 10 and 30 for LED fixtures and loads.

For Max On, incrementally decrease the value until you can no longer perceive a difference in the lighting to prolong the life of the bulb. It's also useful to set the maximum brightness of a light to match the mood of a room.
