RTSP Errors - Cameras not online

If you are getting RTSP errors and cameras are not online, make sure you have the password for the cameras added into the driver for the camera in the Control4 project.

If you are using Luma x20 cameras, ensure that the camera driver in the Control4 project has the same login information as the login information in the OvrC account.

  1. Go to https://app.ovrc.com/ and in the device details for the camera, click on Configure > Camera Credentials and use the System Connect Credentials for the Luma x20 camera driver in your Control4 project.

  2. If you still have issues with camera display errors in OvrC or the Control4 Insights driver and have confirmed the correct OvrC credentials on the camera, you can restart Insight Services. In Composer > System Design, select the Insights driver, and go to the Actions tab. Click on Restart Event Listener and Restart Insight Services. Allow 5 minutes for the necessary services to restart.

In the Insights driver in System Design, each connected camera configured in OvrC should show Status: Operating when set up and operating correctly.
