Performance, Stability & Usability

This general maintenance release addresses issues affecting WPA3 connectivity and enhances overall network connectivity.

Wake Behavior Improvements

We've decreased the delay when sending a command when waking from light sleep. Remotes now wake faster and are more responsive.

Battery Longevity Enhancements

Updates to Halo’s battery management and charging behavior extend battery longevity. This helps the remotes last longer in the field with less capacity degradation over time.

Known issues

  • QR Code FTUE does not work if the home network is 192.168.89.0/24.

  • From deep sleep mode, waking up the remote with a button press does not send the button press to the system. You have to press the button again.

Bug fixes

  • HALO-5160 – General Halo bug report.

  • HALO-5155 – The application is stuck after waking from deep sleep.

  • HALO-5109 – If I don't wait long enough after refreshing Navigators, I can reproduce the app crashing.

  • HALO-5119 – Wake agent - issue with selecting Schedule days.

  • HALO-4892 – Remote stuck with "Waking from sleep" message, and is unresponsive.

  • HALO-5173 – Several options from the Watch, Comfort, and Security menus are not translated.

  • HALO-5217 – If don't wait long enough after refreshing Navigators, I can reproduce an app crash on Custom Buttons.

  • HALO-5039 – 2 second delay on initial button press after light sleep.

  • HALO-5067 – No control with Halo Touch screen.

  • HALO-5175 – Remote can freeze on Pentair Pool menu if it is loaded while restarting the Pentair device.

  • HALO-5029 – Application crashes when waking up from deep-sleep on ActiveMediaPresenter.

  • HALO-5123 – Remotes froze on 2.3.1.

  • HALO-4968 – Remote froze after updating to 4.0.0.733576.

  • HALO-5133 – Remote app crashes if I click on a residual empty row from removing a lighting scene.

  • HALO-5104 – Some Shades favorites icons are not the same as icons in the main menu.

  • HALO-5108 – Favorites for "Screens & Lifts", "Locks & Sensors," and "Extras" are not visible on the Halo Touch favorites screen.

  • HALO-5011 – Wrong icon for discrete blinds group when group items are opened and have different levels.

  • HALO-4927 – After loosing network for a short time, the remote didn't reconnect to Wi-Fi.

  • HALO-5120 – Sometimes it takes too long to propagate changed values in the Wake/Sleep agent.

  • HALO-4685 – Halo Touch remote is stuck on the Lock screen and the soft buttons didn't respond.
