Features
Efficient audiophile design
The Episode MoIP amplifier uses the latest digital technology to deliver cool-running performance from a compact, reliable package that uses minimal rack space. It features superior-quality components for outstanding sound quality and is up to 90% more efficient than conventional analog designs.
Multiple stages of protection
Each pair of channels (or Zone) are individually protected with an Operation Mode indicated by multi-color LEDs on the front of the amplifier to simplify troubleshooting. If the circuitry determines that a channel must be shut down to protect itself from a short, only the channels that are affected are turned off. The other zones continue to play.
Flexible switching of analog and digital inputs
The Episode MoIP amplifier offers a wide range of versatile, global inputs:
-
1× Stereo analog Line In (RCA)
-
1× digital coax/optical combo input (RCA/TOSLINK)
-
1× Ethernet (RJ45)
The matrix switching capabilities allow any input to be routed to any output to provide unparalleled flexibility that is required for today’s demanding custom audio installations.
For example, you can route the digital coax-in to channels 1-5 and Sub Out 1 to set up a 5.1 surround system playing audio from a digital input.
MoIP
MoIP (Media over IP) is scalable audio/video distribution technology that lets integrators quickly and easily build custom systems. This amplifier uses ethernet to distribute audio over the same system to distribute premium sound without delay.
These amplifiers can be used as a stand-alone system or combined with our complete line of MoIP audio and video products for the industry's most flexible and scalable audio/video distribution system.
OvrC
OvrC is a free, cloud-based remote management and monitoring platform designed by Snap One exclusively for professionals. From setup to support, OvrC empowers you to install, monitor, and troubleshoot connected devices remotely, helping you deliver world-class support from anywhere. With a new system coming online every six minutes, OvrC is trusted by pros around the world to solve problems quickly and keep customers’ systems up and running.
Installation-friendly connections
Each pair of speaker outputs feature a removable speaker wire connector that accommodates up to 14-gauge stranded speaker wire. The analog and digital coax inputs are all high-quality RCA connectors. The power connection is removable as well, facilitating fast and simple installations.
Sub Out
Each MoIP Amplifier model has an RCA subwoofer output for each configurable zone. The crossover for each of the low-level Sub Out RCA loop outs is adjustable in the Zone Configuration page in OvrC. For more information on zone configurations and DSP settings, see Zone configuration.
Rack-mountable
Each Episode amplifier includes an accessory package of rack ears. The amplifier feet are easily removable for clean rack mounting. The amplifier chassis and rack ears are not designed to support anything but the amplifier.
Caution: Do not stack components on top of the amplifier to avoid potential damage to amplifier’s chassis.
