Adding technicians to OvrC

Technicians can use OvrC to get critical information, keep notes, and perform troubleshooting without a truck roll. However, they must accept an invitation to join your OvrC account. Ensure that each technician has a separate account; if technicians share an account, it can cause you administrative issues.

Send an invite

To invite new employees or business partners, click the Account icon to the left. This brings you to the Users tab.

Click the + Add User button.

Type the person's email address in the text box, and select the group(s) to which you want the new user assigned.

You can send multiple invites at once by clicking the small+ Add User button just below the email text box.

Click Submit.

If their address is not associated with an existing OvrC account, they receive an email that invites them to join your company.

If their email address is already attached to an OvrC account, they can accept as an outside consultant.

The technician accepts

The technician receives an email with the invitation, and must click the link to accept the invitation and set up their OvrC account.

Once the account has been set up, the technician has all permissions and can see all customers associated with the technician's group(s).
